TPFG: Scalable CMS Solutions

Overview

Problem

TPFG’s existing CMS lacked the flexibility and cohesion needed to efficiently manage multiple sub-brand websites. This resulted in slow content updates, inconsistency across brands, and stakeholder frustration.

Solution

I supported the Senior Designer to develop a reusable component library tailored for Craft CMS, paired with comprehensive style guides for each sub-brand. This approach created a cohesive, flexible CMS framework, significantly accelerating sub-brand website rollouts.

Building a Scalable CMS Solution to Simplify Content Management Across Multiple Brands

I was responsible for the visual design and development of components in our TPFG component library which was rolled out across their sub-brands. I worked closely with our Senior Designer, helping to translate each brand into a set of modular components, that ensured design consistency and simplified the development process.

Key Details

Utilising Real-Time Collaboration

Working in Figma I was able to utilise real-time collaboration, working alongside our Senior Digital Designer, this aided my client onboarding process as I was able to shadow my peer. Through this I learnt how to effectively utilise real-time collaboration to share tasks, reducing project timelines.

Component Based Development

I helped create a component library for Martin & Co and EweMove. This component library provided a toolkit for our development team to use. Speeding up design and development time and allowing us to launch each sub-brand website ahead of schedule.

Taking Charge of a Rollout

I was responsible for rolling out the component library across each sub-brand website. During this task I took each sub-brand and created a style sheet which our development team utilised to prepare each site.

Conclusion

This project strengthened my skills in designing scalable, reusable design systems and highlighted the importance of clear documentation and collaboration in CMS-driven environments. The outcome was a flexible CMS solution that accelerated sub-brand development and improved content management efficiency.
